I will try to send 5-6 kits tomorrow by DTDC.What should I write in declaration?
Kindly suggest.
Last GB(CNC) I sent parcel with declaration "Electronic parts for repair and has no commercial value".Is that OK with everyone?

Yes that would do.

Many states don't have octri. So for that no problem.

Anything do - "Student project kit (electronics hobby kit) & personal item, No commercial value."

My brother will be going there to collect my trafos on coming Saturday. So he will be talking to them. But I see chances slim as I already trimmed down to minimum. Only problem came for payment option NEFT which warranted tax invoice and that came around 25-30% ( for 495 Rs trafo I shelled 135Rs taxes)


BTW all part are here except LDR (mostly getting it tomorrow).

That is preposterous. You could've paid into your brother's A/c and asked him to make cash payment.

These are same, aren't delivered yet. I missed payment in first attempt. So delay of 1 week happened. They are from Electro Magnetic Devices, H'bad.

But I am on different fortune. :sad: My better half tries to maintain her level of ignorance. Additionally sometime teasing me by playing same radio station (which I am playing my so called HiFi stuff) on tiny radio screaming in the kitchen. Most of the time she hates these like pests. Still I cherish my hobby. What can she do? If you love me then you must love my dog too. Only one time she feels proud when some of her friends praises our HiFi gears :yahoo: But that's momentary. Again we are back to square one.
[ I know she won't read this unless some gaddar apprises her of this.]

Oh yes, it was super fast. Mine is still safely ensconced in the very box that it came in. I'm waiting for the PSU & LDR so that I can take it to the workshop for getting them soldered.
