I think it is 500W x 1 RMS @ 8 ohms since essentially it is 125W x 2 @ 8 ohms. Check this: Class D Audio CDA-254 Class D Audio Amplifier

So it appears that 300VA trafo would suffice. What do you say guys?

Yes, provided he is not intending to stretch to max power which includes clipping which draws more power. Momentary power requirements are complemented by big filter caps. General thumb rule I used - RMS Wattage = 0.8 power factor X VA rating

Since the amp is rated as 125 RMS @ 8 ohms & 250 RMS @ 4 ohms, the trafo must be 312va for 4 ohm load &156va for 8 ohm load right?.

I have also stored same pics on my hard drive for PASS B1.FM Santhosh knows someone in Banglore who makes Aluminium enclosures.IF pries are good than we can have GB for enclosures too.

This one is a DIY enclosure AK member Westend has made for his B1.I like its simple design.FM Santhosh knows someone in Banglore who can makes enclosures for us.

Received the rest of the kit and it has been assembled. Now waiting for the other group buys. We can also try with Delta transformers. They even export their R-cores.

Yes I am in for the group buy of R-cores. If this does not go through soon will have to buy from alternate sources. Even have an enclosure set aside for the build. Same dimensions as my MyRef Rev E Gainclone (180mm x 300 mm x 60 mm is a perfect fit only problem is that I would mount the large caps off board). Believe that they make a great pre power combination.

One more query. It is safe to DC couple the My Ref if I use this preamplifier with My Ref exclusively.
