I don't think that is a fake design. and its SQ is a matter of actual evaluation rather than a wild guess. And you know many such legendary designs are available in the market though its copy protected with law!! sad but true and that is a fact as well...

Anyway i just gave an information that is all. I will be building myself in the near future..and i have procured all its components...but just for personal use...

I have provided all B1 gerbers to Bibin.you can use them for yourself.

No one said it is fake design. I'm not sure about this design but in general, AFAIK to copy some design but not infringe on the owner's copyright, one needs to do significant modifications to that circuitry due to which, behaviour of the circuit also changes significantly. For good or bad remains to be seen but if someone is just copying someone else's design rather than making one's own design, it is not difficult to imagine which one would sound better, the original or the modded one. I can't figure why should one make a blind buy rather than take a calculated guess on which way to go.

I will be building myself in the near future..and i have procured all its components...but just for personal use...

I admire your spirit of not going by the beaten track. Wish you all the best. Do let us know how it sounds and may be we can also do an A-B with Om-Sachu kit.

PCBs have been ordered.Please find approx cost
Full B1 kit(LDR+Power supply+B1) = Rs 4500
LDR kit = Rs 900
Power supply kit = Rs 800
Only B1 kit = Rs 2800
Shipping would be Rs 100 wih DTDC.I will need min 50% amount in advance.Please PM me if you don't have my bank details.

Update:
received B1 and new LDR boards.I shall receive all required parts in next 20 days.I will start shipping kits on 1st week of October.
I have all the required parts for power supply,except 5 big capacitors.Its raining heavily here since 2-3 days and I could not get time to shop.Those who opted for Power supply will have to wait few more days.

Power supply parts have cost little more than I expected.New price for Power supply kit is Rs1000(including shipping)or Rs 800 without 5 X 4700uf 50V caps.
I have bought all components for power supply kit.I will ship Power supply kit on Monday to FMs only wanting this kit.

You got all pricey stuff on board in terms of components. Why did you save for PCB? It looks like all VIPs are sheltered in a makeshift tent and wanting to move some 5 star place. please listen to their plead.

Thank you Omishra ......Listening Impression is not bad.............It is very very natural......no coloration.......

Initially i was about to make the PCB, but after discussing with my brother (bijinmb, FM) i decided to try it on a general purpose board. All the interconnections are made using high quality single core copper wire and it is not going to make any difference in the SQ.

But i am gonna keep her in a 5 star cabinet.......

I have those exotic components for two more B1 with matched JFETs. May b e in future i can try that on a good PCB.

I took it from the inductor of a vintage cassette player (Technics). It is like 16 or 18 AWG.

I have received almost all parts but still waiting for matched JFETs(in transit) from Spencer and few more parts.I think it will take more 10 days to receive every thing.I will ship the kit very next day after receiving parts.
Please don't transfer anything now.I will PM you once I receive all parts.Its only Rs 200(approx) more than previous price.
