Ok, then probably FM anilva will help me in this regard. I would have sourced from spencer too but it takes a lot of time.

W/O LDR, will it sound at its best?
No only parts and PCbs.You will need to buy all hardware, transformer and a case.

Sachin
Can you help us source those? I mean pointing to appropriate sources.
sachin.. I am also interested. Please count me in.
Sachin, how about having a dual stereo pot instead of mono?
Sachin, could you please explain this configuration? and the position of the vol control in your chain?I am using B1 as pure buffer (without volume control)
B1 with 2x 25k pots sounds best.FM Kroyin has compared all the combinationsHi Sachin,
Great to see so much interest in the pass B1. Seems like the Pune HFV meet has generated a lot of interest in the pass B1 due to Om's DIY efforts.
Can you tell us which is the best B1 configuration that provides the highest sonic value? Om has done a lot of tweaking to get the final sound, right?
Also, from what I know, the pass B1 does not add any gain. Is there any design that can be added/modified to the B1 which will give it a small amount of gain - say 6db. My power amp has a reasonably high input sensitivity - 2.8V, so with a line source of 2V, I think I will need a little bit of gain. Not sure if the B1 in stock form would work well.
Thanks,
APK
Cab's are available at Pune.Omishra has built one.We bought R-core Transformers from EMD Hydrabad. They are cheap Rs 450(approx+shipping)and very good quality.
