Sorry for the OT. the operating voltage is 45 to 60 V DC. I'm presently using a 35-0-35 EI core trafo which would give a mean operating voltage of 49.35 (35 volt AC X 1.41)

But the PS has to be 3 wires (+, G, -) or 2 wires (+, G/0)?

Deriving power supply for P In any case LM317 based regulator can be used as it supports max 40V differential in input and output voltages. From existing power line it is possible to get +18 to +24V.

real estate is 9"W 10"D 50 and 60mm H ( internal specs)

i will be using one for one of my dacs

both are two seperate designs very simialr to what audio doc has imported ( i belive from the same website you linked me to )

Hi Sachin, all PCBs for my Alarm project are from PCB power, quality is very very good. IMHO 100-200 rupees does not matter. I suggest we make even the Light speed boards there. If not there, let them both be from one vendor so that quality remains the same. (Having said that, IMO the PCB you made locally for the phono is also good)

I will see if that hack pointed by 'quad' comes to our help or not. If I could provide Gerber files for the same.

Edit: Just now I sent Gerber files to Sachin. He can verify and let us know. Eagle CAD software has methods to generate the same though file extensions are different.

We are following this thread for BOM Nelson Pass B-1 preamp kit
I will try to source most of the parts from Element 14 of similar quality.PCBs will be made at PCB power.I will post component details with part no.tomorrow.
