Schindler's List - The Definitive Edition

One of most unique thing about this edition is...it has got HINDI - DTS 5.1 Sound; and also there are Hindi subtitles as well ;-) I checked the Hindi dubbing watching almost half an hour of the movie, and Hindi dubbing is not that bad.
So if some of our folks who are reluctant in watching English movies, can experience this one the greatest movie in the history of cinema!

I see that you bought Hugo in 2D. You should have chosen the 3D version instead - one of the best 3D films around.

I got tired of taking pics and posting. My collection may not be as big as yours. Currently 263 titles. Much easier to post a link to library as you can see from my signature.

One day Arcelor-Mittal will place a bid to take over the steel you're accumulating :ohyeah:

good one, techno! :)

@ crossbow
great collection! the one-eyed minion is the icing on the cake :)

btw, could you please provide a few details on the 2001 tin? price, specs, bonus features, etc?
2001 is one of my top 3 films of all time and i've owned multiple formats of the flick, including laserdisc. however, this one is an absolute stunner!

here are some purchases from the last few months:

Thanks Techno and coaltrain.

Oh And I am very much affected by recent Rupee hike. These were all pre-orders, posted in last 2-3 months' span. And Postman suddenly got "Meherbaan" on me in the month of June.

Right now, all quite on here. Keeping my self busy in CC statements and payments :p :lol:
It's crossing 60 now. :eek:

@coaltrain
2001:SO is Korean exclusive Steelbook.

You can find the listing here : ksteelbook.com

Listing has all the details which you require. Amazon CA also had released the same. with price tag of 19.99 iirc. But at both places CA and KOR, it was long sold out.

KOR steelbooks are often released in extreme low quantities of 300-500 (And yes better quality than US/UK Steelbooks as well), so they are very rare and sold at very high price in resale market.

@coaltrain:
Great Haul... and you got 'Sexy Beast' & 'The Blues Borthers'... Those are really nice flicks I had watched long back. And 'The Blues Brothers' is a cult and one of the funniest movies in Hollywood. Gonna be on my wishlist as well.

Just check if your copy of 'Patton' is the remastered version.
Patton Blu-ray: Remastered

thanks for the detailed response, crossbow! much appreciated.
so far, my purchases have been restricted to amazon us and uk. guess i'll need to muster up the courage to try more exotic sites as well :)

thanks for the link, techno. will definitely check it out.
btw, do check out marathon man, as well. dustin hoffman, roy scheider and laurence olivier in an oscar nominated role. one of the best 70s flicks ever, and one i'm always recommending to friends.

amazon us and uk are pretty much all that we need, especially for amarays and normal editions. For special/collector's editions and Steelbooks only, we might require a look at other countries.

Also, One more good thing. Amazon CA.
@just4kix, @coaltrain, @technobhatt

Recently I purchased LOTR extended trilogy from there. Shipping for 1 item is ~14 CAD to India, via Amazon expedited shipping. So parcel generally is sent by UPS, DHL or Canadian post express delivery. (Mine was shipped by UPS. For express, they use DHL, and parcel reaches within 3-4 days) And arrives here within 1 week. And there is no Import Fee deposit as well, for any shipping method.
But yes, do not select normal shipping, which is ~8.99 CAD, no tracking and parcel takes min 1 month to arrive.

My 1st Blu-Ray!

My 1st Blu-Ray Haul! I guess its NOT too Bad. :yahoo:

Its SPARTACUS BLOOD & SAND imported from Amazon.uk. I also love the Other Seasons of Spartacus BUT the FIRST Season was EPIC! Andy Whitefield was the Best Spartacus EVER! R.I.P Man!

The title is REGION B Locked... But Luckily I have got a Multi-Region BD Player (Philips BDP 3000)! :ohyeah:

Its a 4 Disc Set. It Costs me 14.14 + 3.58 GBP. (Rs. 1750/-)(Duty FREE). It was Nowhere available in INDIA so I have to brought it from UK. Its Packaging is FAR Better than US DIGIBOOK. It Came with NICE 4 Disc Casing! US Digibook is Prone to Scratches. US Digibook also Costs More! (Around Rs.2000+ Shipping).

If Anyone wants to see the INLAY i can post more! Just Ask me.
