Hi,

I am getting the following prices for the following:

42 EX500 - 60.5k
32 EX600 - 50k
LA40C630 - 58k
LA40C650 - 65k
LA42C450 - 45k
LA40C550 - 54k
LA37C550 - 48k
LED samsung 5 - 52k
LED samsung 6 - 62k

Please suggest which one should be the best? I dont wanna have more than 40/42 inches TV as it would be quite big.

Also can you please provide some prices of Panasonic Plasma series within 60k range for 42 inches?

Thanks.

Well i believe you meant 40EX400 at 60.5k.
of the tvs you mentioned the samsung C630 is your best bet.

+1

40c630 is excellent for the price offered..matte screen with 100hz..

Rest all TVs are priced slightly on the higher side (about 2-3K)..
Do take a demo before the purchase..
buy the one which suits best to your eyes and home conditions...

42c450 is a plasma and not suited for brightly lit room where you can not control light..Also it is not Full HD..

As usual, LED backlit TVs are costly and the price paid for them is not justified against similarly priced CCFL lit LCDs and Plasma..

Panasonic has 42v20 plasma for about 60K.. go through the owners thread in the forum..there are many satisfied users..

Well I can control light in my room. Can I get any full hd Plasma within 60k?
What is the price of G series and S series?
If I dont get full hd in that price, I will definitely get LA40C630.

Well, so you are saying LEDs are not worth the extra moolah?

Thanks for the link, but in that thread its not written from where he bought the stuff.
Most probably, V series is going to be out of my budget. Hence, looking for a cheaper full hd option - G series or S series. Can you please confirm the price for those two models?

Well I got some more prices-

LG LH 80 42 inch - 60k
LG LH 60 42 inch - 51k
Another LG model from Jazz series - 60k
LGPJ560 42 inch - 45k
LG 42LD460 - 54k+

Samsung:-

LA40C630 - 61k
LA40C650 - 70k+
LA40C550 - 57k+
LA42C430 - 45k
LA42C450 - 47k

I think all the prices are quite high.

LG 42LD460 for 45k in Mumbai with b/w

Well thanks for the info.

Here in Kolkata, TV prices are 7-8k more than other states. I dunno why this is the scenario.
Also the Samsung guy told that company has settled for fixed price all over India. But then, how can be 42C450 be 38k in other state and 47k+ here?
:(

How are the LG deals? If I bargain, can I get the LH80 Scarlet 2.0 42 incher within 55k?

Guyz please suggest.

How are the models LG 42LG80FR and LG 37LH50YR? I really loved the picture quality on both. Will it be a better buy than Samsung?

Well guyz, I confirmed from LG dealer that the above two models are not available right now, only LD460 is available.

BTW, just help me to decide between 37C550 and 42LD460. I am in hell lot of confusion.
:(

Well finally I got the LA40C550 for 53.5k with HDMI cable. The full HD Avatar 1080P and Boltz @ 720P looked really fabulous with picture mode dynamic. But the local cable channel is okish. I got the TV on Friday night. Me and my friend set it up on a glass table. Is it really needed to get company guyz for a demo?

congratulations..

company guy will come and wall mount the TV if you need..
If you are not planning to wall mount, procure the wall mount unit for future use.. it is provided fee of cost..
If he is knowledgeable enough (which I doubt) about all the features in your TV he may give a demo..

Ok, I dont plan to wall mount now. Hence, no need for company guyz I guess to come to my house right now.
:)

I am planning to get Airtel Digital TV. Will it be of good PQ?

Also about the TV options, I will get hold of everything in a couple of days I guess, after I go through the whole manual.

:)

Hi,
I'm planning to take Samsung LA40C630 next thursday. I am going to get it with a price tag of 65,000. I'm taking it on finance. They are saying its on 0% interest but after seeing the previous posts, it is pretty clear that its available in the market for rs.58,000 to 61,000. So I'm rethinking about the deal , 7000 rs differece !!!!. can anyone let me know where can I get it cheaper.Guys let me know as sson as possible because I need to take the decision by thursday. I have got my finance approved already. I have some other questions-

1. I have not seen the 40 inch on the display as they had only 32 in for that model. I have compared it with Sony ex500 32 inch. but not able to figure out the difference except the Samsung Costs less and it has some cool features - all format support, LAN accessibiltiy,DVI support ,4 HDMI etc.
How about the PQ for LA40C630 vs KLV40EX500?

2. In the (LA40C630) specification it is written that it has a buitin HD media player and UBS2 port for HDD support. Has anybody tried that What is the max capacity?

Thanks Guys.
Please help me out for taking the decision.
