My recent one is Denon AVR X3400H.
Taken it from ProFX dealer in pune called Soundscape. Was trying to test the dolby atmos and dts X. So went for this AVR as this has better upscaling features and preouts.
So far fantastic in performance. Only issue is heating using now my laptop cooler. Played Atmos movie Pacific RIM. Nice effects.
Currently paired with Yamaha NS8390, Focal SIBXL, Focal SIB and Focal CUB3 subwoofer.

Yes new pair , black colour. Im using it in ireland so i could get it cheap from amazon.co.uk without any taxes. Jamo is very much over priced in india. I would say that Wharfedale , polk, Kef , mission etc are priced better in india compared to the international market.

I have been using yamaha Rx479 avr with jbl cinema 300. Although it is ok for cinema, i am not happy with jbl cinema 300 for music.
I want to replace speakers with Pioneer Andrew jones 5.1 speaker system . Any suggestions? Experienced boarders please share your ideas and help me. I also have wharfedale system in mind. But AJ has been praised all over the world and they're available for 60 K.

After listening to my new setup I am gladly returning my Pioneer a-20 and got Denon PMA 720. Waiting for the delivery. Pioneer was played at 3'o clock position to produce decent sound out of the speakers(Jamo c97).But its way too under powered(50W @ 4ohms). Hoping that denon will spice up things a bit(85W at 4ohms).

After a month wait got Schiit Vidar power amp..
One of my best decisions as far as stereo listening is considered ; as expected the quality of bass and details is simply amazing. Got Nagaoka Mp 110 as well. Hunt for a decent preamp starts, meanwhile the Chinese Active tube preamp is doing a decent job with Vidar. I'm loving the experience much more.

Most of the Atmos track doesn't play through USB slot of bdp ,it is better to go for HTPC to play such remux contents.

The combo has many advantages, but just one the SQ gain is enough to make a extremely strong case for a sub
In my setup F2k, iTunes, the tidal browser or the stand alone player are not in the same league.
Two weeks back I would not have believed you if told me a player would make such a big difference.
I am sufficiently impressed to a) vote with my wallet b) to say that you should try it if you are chasing SQ and listening to digital audio with a computer involved.
