Hi Guys,

Just bought Panasonic 50 U30 plasma model today for Rs.64,000/- which will deliver tomorrow. Also bought Tata Sky HD plus with recorder with it. Lets see how it performs in my home conditions as it was superb in showroom.

Let me know your feedback on the same.
Is the proce inclusive of Tata HDR
Are you using it for gaming/net access (is u tube accesible)
Please keep us(me) updatedon the acceesories /usage / satisfaction with the same

thanks.i too considered the 550d.but i am still not sure about the 3d.also,i have been waiting for 25 days for the 42incher and they had run out of it.iwas able to get a quote of 68k for the 550d,but with a wdtv hub live,i really didnt need media support on the tv. i went ahead for the 50incher v20d

Month ago there was an offer from ezone and few other shops that Onkyo 3300 was available for Rs.19990/-..
I am wondering is there any other shops/retail that are selling at this price now.. Nowadays this model is replaced by 3400... but still any chance of getting 3300 at 19990

@manjunath nice review. seems you are very happy with your new possession. me too go the delivery of the tv today. hopefully should get installed by tomorrow. I am looking forward to view some blu rays and use the smart features on the new LED.

I also heard there is an android app called LG remote, which can work as a trackpad (same as laptop) to browse internet. Also you can input text via the keypad on your touchscreen android phone rather than the onscreen one.

One thing lacking - seriously need to give an additional feature to hook up a wireless keyboard.

Hopefully, will post some review once i get this installed.

one serious thing which is bothering me...

42" LED @ 58K (LG 5500) vs 42" Plasma @ 53K (Panny V20)

Which is a better deal considering LED is latest and Plasma has the best display experience. Maybe Plasma fans can throw some light on this.
