There is ad in DC, Hyderabad for 1,04,990/- for the same.
May be new benchmark for this model.

For 70k is unlikely. Considering the fact that the MRP of the cheapest 55" 3D Bravia is 1.70lacs, you could get it for around 1 lac but not 70k
how do u intend to bring it in without customs knowing?
well i was hoping someone who has already imported it would give me some advice.
there is price difference of 60k(1.3 in india 70k in bangkok) as far as i know. so even if they charge 10-15% customs it comes out to be cheaper. please do guide me on shipping and customs. all suggestions/advices are welcomed.
also is there a serious game lag while playing on this tv as i do plan to play fifa and kinect on it. if yes then what other tvs would you suggest. i checked out samsung series6 but their 3d was not even close to LG's. how is panasonic? and how is the after sales service of panasonic?

I like the product since it launched ,but for me i felt the prices are high since i was looking for 47 or 55 inches screen. I tried new Samsung product but they are good in 2d but 3d part is very bad. Their active glasses are also not suited to me.
When i worked out the prices i found that the prices are much cheaper in bangkok as compared to india.
ex . 47 LW 5700 india 104000 bangkok 60000 Rs
55LW 5700 india 131000 bangkok 78000 rs
47 LW 6500 india 116000 bangkok 65000
55LW 6500 india 168000 bangkok 105000
all prices are in indian currencies, comparison prices taken from compareindia.com,custom duties not included, setvat not included Lowest bangkok deal i found in makemy trip ( 25000) all inclusive.
I have seen many sites /web pages on the net and these are the lowest .
