Was quoted 70K for the Sony 46CX520 in Reliance Digital yesterday.

Any clue on the best price I can negotiate for?

Dealers here in Hyderabad say that Sony does not allow them to give discounts and they cannot sell below what they call as MOP (Maximum Offer Price, I guess). The salesman said 'he can do something' about the prices of Samsung and Panasonic but not Sony. I wonder whether this is true.

Congrats on your purchase, Can you tell me where you picked up the WD LIVE HUB ? I think 1tb HDD is a major advantage in this one. Test out the HD audio formats from demoworld site and post the results please. Heard it has major problems playing HD audio.

I didn't bought WD Live Hub, just asked for quotation from Shree Computers, PR Lane, SP Road, Bangalore. He was quoting best prices for most of the computer products.

WD Live Hub for Rs 10400 was the best price I got till date.

Proud owner of the Panasonic 42d25. Panasonic is replacing there 2010 models with 2011 lineup (which includes V30 - plasma, E30 - LED and others) in July so they are giving large discounts on these models till stocks last. Reading reviews on the replacement 42E30, I couldn't see much difference in picture quality, just some more viera features and some software improvements, so I decided to go for it!

This model is an edge-lit LED TV and was originally listed at Rs.85K. It was discounted to Rs57600. I exchanged an older Sony TV for Rs.5,600. They also have a great offer for a free Tata Sky HD box for free! As I was planning to that that anyhow, it was perfect. But I asked for the HD+ (with the DVR) for which I had to pay Rs.1200 more.

The sales guy gave me a further discount of Rs.1200.

Final price: 57600-1200-5600+1200 = Rs.52,000 (incl of TV, cartage, VAT and the HD-DVR).

Would any other D25 owners know some good calibration settings for this model?

Hi Guys,

Just bought Panasonic 50 U30 plasma model today for Rs.64,000/- which will deliver tomorrow. Also bought Tata Sky HD plus with recorder with it. Lets see how it performs in my home conditions as it was superb in showroom.
