He bought the cheaper Panasonic 50XT50 at 50K or something... its not FHD, no 3D glasses, no built-in WIFI...
78K is the price I was quoted in north as well... btw you can check shopping.indiatimes.com, I think they have a price of 71K for this..

Friends, today I stumbled upon an unusual deal. I had ordered 50UT50 on 6th of August with a delivery date after 7 days; now today when I enquired I was intimated of delay. The thing is in lieu of 50UT50 my dealer is offering me in stock 50ST50 at surprising price of 92k(not to compensate the delay but as a well wisher he says as he can make it available in a day more). I was skeptical for the deal & enquired about manufacturing date, sealed pack & to check usage hours. The dealer is ready to testify his performance guarantee. I am in utter confusion whether to trust him or stick with UT50. Should I pounce or dust the deal & carry away UT50?
Bro I am happy but not too surprised at this deal... 50ST50 can be offered at this price range and I had mentioned somedays back when it was being quoted ~ 100K that the price can come to 90-95K soon... just like price of 50UT50 was 80-85K quoted by most dealers but then it was dropped to 75-76K.
If you have the budget, I will recommend you going for ST50 has the upgrade from UT50 is good - NeoPlasma Panel, Infinite Black filter, 8 trans speakers, 12188 gradation, built in wifi etc etc are well worth the price...
Alfa stores in mumbai are quite cheaper even though now they have started with bill and with manufacturing warranty also. I went last weel to alfa and got prizes which you wont get in any store with bill and with manufacturing warranty

Hey Rajat, thanks for the advice and yes if just for a difference of 10-14k I can upgrade to 50ST50 then why not grasp it? I will revisit the dealer today & will clarify the turbidity.
Now that is one rock bottom price. Wonder what the catch is ?
i saw the other Guy quoting 36.5K for 42ST30 without Glass and Brackets in Chennai Grey Market, not sure how far the product geninue!
