Does it come with an auto setup? Do that first. See how it sounds after that.

The YHT-196 is an entry level system, so does not have YPAO/auto calibration. You will need to adjust the distance based at your listening position. The cross over defaults to 120Hz, you can keep it at the same value or bring it up a little lower to 100Hz. Though NS-B20 is rated between 70Hz to 25Khz, it feels strained at 80Hz. I used the same set of speakers for some time before I upgraded my fronts to Q Acoustics. It is definitely value for money, so still sticking with the HTR-2064 receiver.
