Nice collection. Sinatra's 'It was a very good year' song is one of my favourites. I can only imagine how good and deep his sound will be when played on a good TT.

Scored a rare album yesterday (on CD)
Jim Reeves - Welcome To My World (Box Set)
16 CDs, 447 tracks in all (everything Jim Reeves ever recorded, including demos, unreleased studio versions and of course, Jim's personal tapes which his wife handed over to RCA for voice-over posthumus releases)
This is a must for all collectors and fans of Jim Reeves' music. The album was sent for my mother who is a big Jim Reeves Fan.
The quality on the studio recordings is amazingly good, even the demos are not that bad either and very listenable.

Reuben, If you are a die hard Jim Reeves fan, There is still material left.
I have (though on mp3) a set of his radio days CD's, some live performances (has Reeves doing a Johnny Cash impersonation and his Norway performance), then some of his Overdubs CD's
The overdubs are the most interesting.

Thanks greenhorn, honestly I'm not a Jim Reeves fan as such but since of late I have diversified my music tastes a bit. Mom is the big Jim Reeves fan and this is for her to listen to when she comes home (I get a kick out of hearing her comment that the NAD 3020 sounds unlike anything she's heard before, everytime she hears Jim Reeves play through it)

I know what that feeling is Reuben. I was never a big fan of Jim Reeves, back then he always sounded nice only when he was played in the background in movies for mushy scenes and Christmas songs. But believe you me, Jim Reeves on Vinyl especially with the 3020 is simply amazing. I've got loads of Jim Reeves and a lot of Christmas editions. Can wait to get them playing during the entire Christmas celebrations
next month.BTW, have you tried listening to Don Williams through the 3020
....WOW....then can you imagine if you happen to listen to Barry White Vinyl through the 3020

Command records were quite popular in India during 70s and 80s for its well defined STEREO effects.
Most of them were instrumental....Percussion based records by Terry Snyder [esp. Persuasive Percussion ] is a treat to ears.

As always great collection. The Command records are examples of stereo sound from early era of stereo pressings. Persuasive Percussion is one of my favorite too. In fact all of this Percussion series(Persuasive, Provocative, Gentle) are good.
The absence of Vol. 2 of 'Persuasive Percussion' here is interesting since I'm yet to see it in physical format till now. Any idea if it was released in India? No one in my friend circle has seen an Indian pressing of the same, though one of my friend has got a UK pressing with him.
