St50 produces meaningful sound even at +100 volume without being shouty.
Though it can never match an amp.
The sound volume varies with the source.
Try increasing the volume at the STB side if this is the source.

A cnet thread infact says that st60 need not be aspired for, if one has st50 already.
In avforums review of st60 also ,I came across the statement "though we would prefer last year's buttery smooth st50...",
More than once.
Everytime I have a new bluray or dvd or a video watched on other tvs, I would be excited thinking " what will my st50 do to this..". And surprise guarenteed every time.

65VT30 is a two year old model go for Sammy 64F8500 much better and can be bought around same price.

where are you placed in india? Did they calmly offer the replacement or you had to show some muscle?

I am a regular follower of HFV and have learnt a great great deal from this website. Thanks to all of the members here, I learnt about Plasmas, studied them very well and bought P50ST60 this week.
But, since you just mentioned about VT30d, I just wanted to tell you that I was offered Rs 165000 after negotiations for this TV and along with it 3 nos of 3D Glasses with Panasonic India warranty as applicable. Do let me know, if I can be of any help. It's available in MP.

HI also have smiler issue, my P50VT20 has vertical lines and they are offering me replacement with LED 50DT60; but I am nit sure about picture quality of LED.
They said VT serise is only available in 65 inches and I have to pay difference in MRP which is 1.70 Lakhs howere market price of VT30 is 2 lakhs; I do not want to spend much money on it ;

Is ST60 has picture quality equivalent pt better then VT 20 ?
as of now I very much satisfied with VT20 ?
how is there LED serise as it comes with poloroid 3d which make less stain on eyes.
Please advice; how bad is there LED DT serise ?

I never compared vt vs st, but I have seen st50 and pq was amazing.. As far as led is concerned, led can not match pq of plasma , as you know it. yes passive 3d is less strain ful on eyes ... pana led is good too... but if u r a big hollywood movies freak, and less into bollywood and daily soaps, then led may not impress u... I myself own led and I am not a videophill, so I am happy with it ...
