Re: Panasonic 65" ST50D or VT30

I never compared vt vs st, but I have seen st50 and pq was amazing.. As far as led is concerned, led can not match pq of plasma , as you know it. yes passive 3d is less strain ful on eyes ... pana led is good too... but if u r a big hollywood movies freak, and less into bollywood and daily soaps, then led may not impress u... I myself own led and I am not a videophill, so I am happy with it ...

Thanks Sandesh, I have insisted them to replace is with Plasma only.

Thanks for your advice.

they are pushing to replace my p50vt20 with an et60 model. are they exiting plasma business in india? any hope of vt60 coming in?

ok. so st60 would be the right choice?

this vt20 was used only 185 hours , so i am planning to ask them to extend the warranty too.. 185 hours is hardly anything in a humidity free room..

St60 is supposed to be brighter than st50 and equal or better than a vt50.
One should definitely go for st60 if possible.

panasonic warranty seems to be not so good anymore. They are pushing hard to replace a 165 hour run VT20 with a lowly ET60 LED and claiming that "no stock","no company is making plasmas anymore". Before that, one Mr. SK Sharma from versatile care demanded money for replacement. I wonder if we , as forum members should recommend panasonic to anymore.

What is the typical 'upgrade policy' with respect to these in-warranty replacements at panasonic? they look at which price difference - invoice to mrp, mrp to mrp or something else?
