I have a 8 inch REL. Their proprietary connectors Speakon Nutrik which is connected to the amp left and right terminals has the advantage of ensuring the sub recieves the same signal as the main speaker, So the integration is very good. Overall i love the build quality of the REL

Yes, I contacted him.He is a very nice guy, and the Ascendo SV12 is really a good sub. I was about to buy that, but unfortunately I moved to a different place, so I am holding that purchase for a while.

The other sub I mentioned here is above 1L to 1.5L, but SV12 is under 1L.
