Remember the sitcom Ally Mcbeal...... and the pixie-like Calista Flockhart? Here's an album that showcases a few tracks from that serial. The album was first released in 2001 with the Indian edition being released in 2002.
NOTEWORTHY TRACKS: For Once In My Life, How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, You're the First, The Last, My Everything and not the least, the serial's theme song, Searchin' My Soul.
FOOTNOTE OF INTEREST: A note-worthy fact of Ally Mcbeal was that the serial was very musically oriented. This is what attracted me to watch this serial regularly when it was aired in India. Each episode featured songs that were sung by Vonda Shepard, who played herself in the sitcom, as well as by other mainstream singers like Barry White, Al Green, Tina Turner, Anastacia, Elton John, Sting and Mariah Carey, some of whom had even made guest appearances in the show. This sitcom brought Vonda Shepard into the limelight as a singer.
