Right now I am listening to ...

Daft punk - random access memories again after a long while. A never tiring playlist!!

Great album!

I listened to the CD on a very revealing setup and was disappointed with the quality of the mix/mastering. I was wondering if a pressing from some other market would sound better? I have read many different reviews of this album and all seem to agree the sonics are reference grade, but that has not been borne out in my setup or the said reference-grade setup. I understand that the vinyl was mastered by a different guy (in Paris).

Of course all these is fussy, pseudophile nitpicking as the music is sublime.

I had the CD downloaded from a torrent as ISO. M not sure if you have the same version if you are in India. And m not sure if they have the same CD released over India. (Possibly) I don't have a great hi end CD Player either. On my marantz CD63SE they sounded good. I actually liked the way they sound like it's recorded on a broken system;) may be vinyl would sound better, but never had a chance to listen the vinyl of this:)

Yup, some tracks are better in quality than the others. For me, the worst sounding track is 'get lucky', which is a shame as it is one of the best tracks on the album.

How much better the vinyl sounds needs to be heard to be certain. Maybe you can lay your hands on 1 & give the verdict ;)

I listened to the first track yesterday and then slept off..I could hear a lot of country! Whatever it was sounded pretty good..Will listen to the entire album later today. I was looking for a place to buy this and found out that this a crowd funded album! :clapping:
