tomorrowland music festival. one of the biggest music festivals in the world with attendance of nearly 2,00,000 people and apparently had an online waiting list of 20,00,000 people. 400 of the top electronic djs in the world came together to play over 2 days. for people like me that grew up on rock its an acquired taste and takes a while to get used to but theres no denying that its some amazing music and art. and nothing like it to get you going

I have been listening to George Gershwin's very famous Rhapsody in Blue. Anyone who thinks they don't know it only needs hear the famous clarinet glissando at the beginning, and they will find they do. Also, his orchestral Variations on I Got Rhythm. In some ways it is a musical mess, but it is the most gloriously flamboyant and joyous mess!
A little internet research led me to a treat: An early acoustic recording of the composer playing the piece! Amazing that the results were so good.
