Hi,
Just drooling around for a simple HTIB. [love Onkyo, but not now]
Just wanted to know if HT-TZ425 is the best for the price range[MRP is Rs. 24,900], and how much can we negotiate, to get the price lowered.

Here are the links :
Samsung IN
full featured home theatre system with wireless rear speakers - HT-TZ425 - Home Theatre System - Home Theatre | SAMSUNG
Samsung AU - (Has little more information)
full featured home theatre system with wireless rear speakers - HT-TZ425 - Home Theatre System - Home Theatre | SAMSUNG

Points that make me inclined towards it.
1. Bluetooth support, to play songs from PC/mobile to HTIB:licklips:
2. 4 Long speakers:licklips:
3. Automatic Sound Calibration
4. Optical In to connect PlayStation 3 audio
5. DD,DPLII,DTS
6. Supports Blueray player with 5.1 sound [ Hooking up a Samsung BD-P1500 Blu Ray to a HT-TZ425 DVD Home Theatre - AVForums.com ]

So, what do you guys feel ?

for 25k go for an onkyo 3100d 19k+ philips dvd player (3.5)hdmi+upscaling

far better than plastic samsung.. trust me..all those fancy stickring will not get you good sound..

else go for the well talked about philips 3571. (17k). htib these will beat sammy htib anyday..

else buy a logitech z5500 for 17k+xtreamer for 8k makes 25.. tats still better than samsung

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
