Samsung/Sony/Panasonic 2012 tv lineup,When?

I just enquired about the PS43e490 in Delhi and one of the dealer said he could arrange for it and the best price quoted was 45K with two free 3d glasses. I think thats a steal considering that d490 still costs 43k. I think i will purchase E490 this week itself so wait for the first impressions and a short review soon..

That's great. Can you ask him if this model has a lan port?

I asked him if e550 is available. But he said only in 51inches. I think the price for that one was about 70k

Ok.. I read somewhere that there might be a 43 inch e550. I guess that was wrong.

Damn I wish panasonic would release their range early this year. Anything from xt/u/ut range would suit to my needs very well!

I don't remember well. But i think he said 78k. As i was not interested in this model so i didn't paid much attention to what he was saying.

I'm new here. Well, not really. I've been visiting HFV for a while now but only registered a few weeks ago when I decided I'm going to buy the Panasonic ST50 this year.

Anyway, I mailed Panasonic India about the availability of the ST50 in India. I was told it will be available sometime in May of this year. They were evasive about the price though. (surprise! surprise! )
Since the ST30 is about 65-66k now, I'm guessing they'll price the ST50 at ~75k to begin with. I could be wrong, of course...

ST50 for 75k? now you are being too optimistic i guess its going to be no less than 90k initially but its a good news that Panasonic is launching 2012 medles pretty earlier than usual. VT50 will be launched somewhere in june-july i suppose

Hello Everybody,

I am new to this community. Saw this thread so thought of sharing the news. Samsung 51E550 shall be available in Delhi show rooms today as confirmed by my vendor.

I ordered 51D550 on 26th March but after 2 days vendor told me that a new model in E series is coming up. I checked the same on Samsung UK website and it said that E series will be a smart TV. So I waited for the same and my 51E550 will be delivered tomorrow. :yahoo:
I got a wonderful bargain as I negotiated D series for 66K and my dealer has given the same price for 51E550.

waiting for my new sammy......

Now this is the latest news. My vendor told me that there will be no PS43e450 in india. The old D450 will be replaced by PS43e470. He also showed me the price list. It was list at 39,200. And yes i have ordered one
He said that it will be delivered in 3 days. I am so excited. Will post a review as soon as i get the TV.

Well the screen has been delivered and i switched it on day before....I had paid my dealer 66k befoe for D550 and he told me that it is coming with a tag of 81k. MRP of E550 is 86k and I ended up paying him 3.5k more for E550 so total price reaches 69.5k with 2 nos. 3D glasses with batteries.

As we still have to shift to new home so was not able to see my TATA SKY with it :sad: but I played MI4 ghost protocol in 1080p and Transformers3 3D and was taken aback by quality:clapping:....this thing is amazing man!!!! glossy screen is bit reflective but over all blacks and contrast are fine. I have to still calibrate the TV but still picture is no fine. I didnt notice any flickering till now.....will keep u all posted.........

Hi i think now i have to wait for Sony hx850 or switch to samsung 6 series, lg 6200/6700 and panasonic et50/dt50.. i am planning to buy 40inch tv for my room and i was interested in hx750 but cnet and 1 french site didnt give it a good review.. please help.
