Well the screen has been delivered and i switched it on day before....I had paid my dealer 66k befoe for D550 and he told me that it is coming with a tag of 81k. MRP of E550 is 86k and I ended up paying him 3.5k more for E550 so total price reaches 69.5k with 2 nos. 3D glasses with batteries.

As we still have to shift to new home so was not able to see my TATA SKY with it :sad: but I played MI4 ghost protocol in 1080p and Transformers3 3D and was taken aback by quality:clapping:....this thing is amazing man!!!! glossy screen is bit reflective but over all blacks and contrast are fine. I have to still calibrate the TV but still picture is no fine. I didnt notice any flickering till now.....will keep u all posted.........

Hey buddy, congrats for the great purchase. Can you please confirm if it has Wifi or VGA port and how many HDMI ports? Also I would really appreciate if you could take a picture of the remote.

Called up 2 Samsung Plazas in Hyderabad. PS51E550 is available!! No false alarm this time
Price after discount is around 74K. If we go for group buy, price will go down furthur.
Calling all interested people in Hyd for group buy 2 of us in this forum are planning already.

I just got an update from Samsung Plaza in Cochin that it is available from today for Rs.74.5K with the free 3D glasses. So I guess it is available all over India by now or next week at least. I will buy next week

Just got a call from Panny CC confirming 2012 veira models will be out next month. a guy at pannny service centre in mumbai said ST/GT/VT series will all be available in 50". no info on MRP.
