Panasonic 2012 Lineup is launched in india. The New 42XT50D 3D plasma is now availble in india @ just 47K.......

42X30D will be replaced with new X50 series but still there is no information about it's launching.

I don't think so you should wait for some professional reviews. They have just improved their existing series i.e. improved DCR and Panel type and Panel life etc...

I got a reply from Panasonic India that the 2012 line up will be available from June.

I hope the new 2012 lineup will be available from May'12. Becoz dealers start offering very low price for current 2011 models like 42VT30D@65K, 42U30D@37500 & 42X30D@32500.

I have paid 71000 Rs on 28th April, still i didn't get the TV, stock not arrived to my dealer in Pondicherry :sad:

^^ but why did you pay upfront if they did not have the stock? Even an advance is of no use as the dealer does not have control of the stock that Samsung sends to each place.

I got a reply from Panasonic India that the 2012 line up will be available from June.

I checked with the new QRS retail outlet in Trivandrum and they are yet to get back on Panasonic 2012 release dates. 50ST30D is still 95K here :sad:

^^ I asked them too about Panasonic 2012 models but they had no idea. Infact I don't think they will have any idea until it actually arrives there. I prefer 2012 models over 2011 ones. I would have gone for the Panasonic 50ST50 if it was available. Since Panasonic will arrive late (than Samsung) I am thinking about going for the Samsung 51E550 which should be available in the coming week. Bismi in Cochin got stock of it yesterday I heard.

Sony's 2012 flagship BRAVIA HX850 launched in India. 46" is priced at 1.23 lacs and 40" is priced at 93k.

The model has received rave reviews from many websites so far including Trustedreviews, FlatpanelsHD, WhatHifi and others. The performance is brilliant for an EDGE LED based Tv and comes close to the PQ of the local dimming HX925.

Went to few dealers in Gurgaon. None of them had Sammy E550 on display. Said the same would be available next week.

Getting Sammy E 550 51" for 69K. I guess that is the best available in this segment & this budget.

Please correct me if wrong.
