Samsung UA40D5000 LED TV

Guys, just bought Samsung UA40D5000 few days ago. An Upgrade from an old Flat Screen TV (2003).
Anyway, how do you set 100Hz in UA40D5000. My default setting was @50Hz.
Appreciate some guidance.

The D5000 and D5500 only has the LED motion plus.Which is nothing but the scanning backlight.So that is what samsung mean with clear motion rate 100.

Thank you adder. I just feel cheated now as CMR 100 is not good enough for me. The football I watched is not smooth enough & make me dizzy. I thought it was equivalent to 100Hz. Ughh....

The backlight scanning does improve motion resolution,just like the LG truemotion 100hz similar to samsung CMR100 ,it won't be as effective as the AMP found in the samsung series 6 or Sony Motionflow which have frame insertion +backlight scanning.

Just a few minutes back, I ordered online for Samsung 40" LED TV UA40D5000PRMXL with flipkart.com costing Rs 55,040 with a free 3 months Seventymm movie subscription.

Yesterday, I visited Reliance Digital at Mantri Square mall and had a dekho of all the Plasma/LCD/LED TVs coming within my budget and decided in favour of this model. I had earlier taken quotes from Jyothi's and Girias. Flipkart's price was the lowest and unbeatable. Now, the ball, oops, TV is in flipkart's court!

FIR: Superb PQ. And also amazing SQ thanks to Sony external speakers that I have connected through Tata Sky DTH with the new TV. Now I have the multi-TV connection with a new Tata Sky HD STB. The HD PQ and SQ are simply superb. Yesterday, I watched Shutter Island thanks to Seventymm.com.

hello, i recently bought the this samsung 40d5000 led tv. when i connect my dvd player to the tv it says no signal... i tried with the three coloured wires and i tried my best but still i cant. Please help me.

Hello i have purchased samsung ua40d5000 tv,

the performance of the tv is good,after 10 or 20 minutes ...the backside of the tv is getting heated up (only the top portion).....did any body faced such problem........will it cause any problem..
