Sony BDP S380 How to connect Wifi

i brought this yesterday , but later came to know its wifi ready , not built in like ps3 .

i have tp link wifi adapter but it doesnt detect, can anyone suggest me wifi lan adapter usb which can connect .

Most of the times, you should go with WiFi Lan adpaters of Sony , becuase these should be plug and play and not like to install driver for detecting the device. Almost all of the 3rd party WiFi Lan adapter will not work , you should restrcit with one available from Sony directly and I am sure this will be little more cost than what you get other vendors.

This is the problem with all vendor who market their product as "Wifi - Ready". This is kind of scam and they force customers to buy another standard product from themselves only.

I have Wifi - Adapter for LED TV belongs to same company. I sourced it from US.

I also purchased Sony BDP S380 but I will run CAT-5 cable from my Wifi router till BDP.

check if this is cheaper for you if you purchase locally or import

Or there is a complex but cheaper way, check the wifi router database of DD-WRT custom firmware and see which ones support bridge mode and use the cheapest one.
