there are many alternatives, i am just trying to figure out..what sony can do in itself.

of course there are many other alternatives which include reencoding video with handbrake that requires huge time..but that method is the only easiest way to do it without reencoding.

How does this TV fare with regards to normal Television Content such as shows, sports, etc.

Hi gaming performance is very good. Normal tv content is also very good. I will post some pictures. I am very very happy with the tv. It looks awesome and the clarity is equally awesome. I am glad i bought HX850

Hi everyone i know all advance setting are not very good and have a lot of knowledge about it but can someone explain in detail about these settings:-

hue, noise reduction, mpeg noise reduction, dot noise reduction, reality creation, video area detection, resolution, noise filtering, smooth gradation, black corrector, advance contrast enhancer, gamma, auto light limiter, clear white, live color, white blance, detail enhancer, edge enhancer, skin naturaliser, i/p conversion, sbm ( in video input settings ),
digital broadcast picture mode.

3D is awesome on it . Very good poput and depth too. Crosstalk is minimal and also the 3D picture is very bright and sharp, not dull.
