Sony W700A Best Buy?

Thats good to hear. So there are no models from samsung or panasonic that could match the PQ of the W700a at the price range?
Also any news on a 40" W950a launch in India? Could consider that over the W700a
There is the samsung series 6 LED which have comparable picture quality.But Sony should be better for gaming due to the lower input lag.
As per my comparisons, the pq of the W700 model is on par with that of the HX850A.
The EX650 does not compare to the W700.
The samsung series 6 models have disappointing Active 3D. The 2D PQ was good though. Could not compare it side by side with the W700. But i feel as an overall package, the samsung series 6 cant match the design, pq and appeal of the Sony W700.
Any idea, what panel is used in the samsung Series 6 models? IPS or VA?

i should say..
if can demo with gaming..it will help a lot to understand..
my choice is sony anyday if its an led...

I know the W700 does not have 3D.
Was just sharing my views on the Series 6 from Samsung.

Interesting, considering the price points, the W950 is cheaper than both the F7000 and F8000.

Well i do know that it is on their website but was wondering if they have hit the stores.
As there is always a delay. The products are displayed first on the website but take some time to hit the shelves.

How much did you get it for?
Did you get a chance to compare the 2D PQ with the W700A?
As per my comparison of the W700A with the HX850, I found the PQ to be on par.
That is good to hear as i had visited a month back and there was no sign of these new sets. So there is development.
Will go soon to audition the set myself and make up my mind.
took demo of 55inch w800 and sammy 7 series , samsung looked much better in comparison, as w950a and samsung are priced at 1.3 lacs and w950a is much better than samsung 7 series infact going by reveiws holds an edge over 8 series also , so i went for w950a , so didnt demo it went by the reveiws, only paid 30k advance will bargain at time of delivery
