stereo setup under 1.5 lakhs

Thank you all for your valuable suggestions. Keeping in mind the advice you have all given me,I have decided not to go for floorstanders.

SO please suggest good Bookshelves speakers with matching amp under 1.5 lakh.
As I mentioned earlier,my source will be purely online streaming.
I listen to only Bollywood and classical.Please suggest a better streamer also.

i dont think bookshelves will be an overkill in a room that size. esp if you have the speakers facing the length (20') of the room. If you're looking at bookshelves, then audition paradigm, psb, monitor audio silver.

since you listen to old style hindi music, those sounds have a large concentration around the highs, so look for something that is sweet on the highs. perhaps something warm to neutral. definitely dont go for anything bright sounding.

ps. do keep a budget for a dac. it makes a huge difference

Recently i auditioned dynaudio emit m20 with marantz 6011, they were beautiful and sound awesome. i have auditioned elac b6, polk rti a5, totem mini kin, emit m10, m20, wharfedale 220. to me m20 was the best of all.
