Due to lack of space and constant complaints from the other half to get rid of my Wharfedale 9.6. and also due the problems of wiring a 5 / 7.1 system.
I would like to get a simple HT system like the The Bose CineMate GS Series II, I would like to be able to play CDs through this system - as I will not be able to set up another spkr system for my music CDs (I currently have Dennon PMA 500 stereo amp paired with the 9.6s)

Are there any other SUB with a possibility of hooking up 2 spkrs without getting an AVR ? What about the Logitech Z653, would it be ok for music also ?

Would like to keep the Budget around 30K - but am willing to consider a really good sounding system( a good Bass response is vital) if it is marginally higher. Thanks.

Folks, if you ever think of getting the Bose Cinemate series for the additional possible use of listening to your music - please stay away!
Was on the verge of picking up the set when I discovered that you cannot play CDs/ other sources directly-( only through the TV) even though they have provided a RCA( Red& White) connectors-we have to disconnect the Optical In which is to be linked to the TV!

Yesterday, the salesman was positive that I could connect and play Two/multiple sources, without any hassels, but fortunately today, another sales person was honest enough to clarify the inhernt connectivity problems. Even opting for an additional " Media Centre" that would apparently overcome the connectivity problems( and which has a DVD player) turned out to be not really possible. All this for for almost 80K:mad:
