uk based dac

hey any suggestions of uk based dacs under 200 pounds sterling?

i can see some :

beresford caiman
ca dac magic
musical fidelity v-dac

any opinions on these? which is the 'best' amongst them?

any other similar products?

I've never used any of them but have read rave reviews of MF V DAC and reviewers singing hosannas about its performance.

the Beresford caiman 7520 costs about Rs 16000 ex works. would be intyeresting to know the price range of the MF VDAC and the DACmagic also. I am not sure about the effect of DAC if connected to a DVDP. By how much with the beresford improve the sound ?

any pointers will be helpful.

i am currently looking for a dac only for my desktop - to play music files (through the topping tp20). but my requirements could change in the future. so if possible i would like to get a more versatile dac (than one which meets my current needs).

currently using pinnacle quantum sattelite speakers. but getting b&w lm1s.

amp is the topping tp20 (already wondering about an upgrade here).

it is for a computer based desktop system. thanks.

Why don't u buy Aktimate Mini, Audioengine AE5 rather than B&W LM1?
