UPS v/s Voltage Stabilizer

I have bought Samsung series6 LED TV and confused, to go for UPS or Voltage Supplier. Not want spend huge. under 3K would be fine.

I live in apartment supported by DG, So during power failure it takes 2-3 mins for electricity to resume on DG and then again it takes 2-3mins to switch back to Mains.

I am looking for Voltage stablizer(heard lot about V-guard crystal for LED) + power surge protection and also little backup (max 5 mins) to avoid blackout on TV.

Have read lot, someone recommended its not advisable to go for UPS as it doesn't have pure sinewave and square wave is not good for electrical equipments.

I am really confused. to go for UPS like APC or stabliser(v-Guard) +UPS ?

As suggested go for the Online UPS system which backs up and provide the pure power. I am still in dilemma as to what brands and specs for my setup. Kind experts shower light.
