Hi, Forgive me for what must be a very basic question. I have a flat panel hdtv with 2 USB out connections and heaphones. Thanks to the help of guys
on here I have decided to get a couple of passive speakers and an amp.
I am looking at the Pyle Home PCAU 33 Amp which has a USB connection.
Would I be right in thinking that I would get a better sound by connecting
the amp to my tv via USB connection rather than into the headphoneconnection of my tv. thanks

Are you sure the TV has USB out connections? They must be "USB in", check the user manual.
Connect the Line out from your TV to the line in of your amp and it should work. Headphone out wont sound as good when amplified through the amp.

Hi Anuragn, Thank for the advice. Having checked again my tv has 4 hdmi,2 usb ports, spdif audio out, audio jack, d-sub pc input and lan port. This obviously means more to you than me, but if I am right, either amp can be connected to my tv but usb will give a better sound quality. Thanks.

The USB must be for attaching a pen drive or hard disk. And not for audio out.
What does the user manual say about the usb ports?

Hi Anuragn, All that I can find is as per my post above. I don`t seem to be able to locate the actual manual on google.I obtained the info from a review.
Assuming I can connect external speakers to my tv may I be a pain and ask one last question.
I have found on amazon a pair of P.C speakers being Creative Inspire T12 with a built in amp.
Also I am looking on amazon at a pair of Boston Acoustic A25 speakers and a Renkforce E-SA9 amp. Would you advise which you think will give the best sound quality between pc and bookshelf speakers. Thanks again for all your help.
