Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier

One of the well pressed picture discs. I have this LP n it sounds very nice (relatively speaking). I have a couple of other pic discs n they sound terrible!

Fully agree with you peace_sells.. This is indeed a good sounding album. I often read that the picture discs are terrible to hear to... This is the first picture disc album I bought and was well pleased with the sound. The discs are fat, heavy and feel very well pressed.

Osibisa : my favorite.....from childhood. Esp for the drums.... Sunshine day and ojaye oja are my prime favorites. The Flying Elephant logo was a fun. The lead man Tedi Osei became a hero when they visited India in 80s. The Hindu, Illustrated weekly and Sun gave full page coverage for the band with big blow-ups. We used to fill our room walls with those blow-ups....
I have a good collection of Osibisa Albums.

Nice cover Anil .. BTW that earlier America album is also in my wish list .. Pls look out one for me.

If it is Breakfast in America you're looking for I have it and will be placing it on sale along with with a couple of hundred others in my collection (Mostly US made albums) in the next month or so.

Folk-rock Saturday!

First this lovely mid-70s album from the ex-Steeleye Span couple:

Then the band themselves with this late 70s release - the production is simply fantastic for a band not really on the major label big-budget scene.

And finally spinning now, this fantastic promo copy of a great 80s folk-rock group
