Tonight we were listening to some great classics of Kundan Lal Saigal...
Brought back some childhood memories..Many years ago, we used to head Radio Ceylon every morning .Radio Ceylon usually plays the hits of KL Saigal saabs song every weekday morning around 7.50AM...I used to enjoy it just before I start to school....

Hi to all you wonderful people,
I just joined today and I'm excited. I'm a lover of vinyl and have grown up listening to them since the early 70's. Even the best digital track cannot compare with the natural sound of vinyl. I have a decent collection of around 200 albums (pop, disco, rock, classical and some old timers). Neil Diamond is my favourite among others from the 70's and 80's. The music of today is painful to the ears!

Todays pick for listen is Madonna's "Like A Prayer". 1989 Magnasound India pressing. A lean sounding record.

In 90s Magnasound cassettes are familiar. This is the only record I seen from Magnasound. FMs knows any other records please share the information.

For a decade I've been searching for Sex Pistol, just to listen their controversial God Save The Queen.. Found this in our classifieds section, and spared no extra seconds to buy it. Though its a live recording , its fantastic..

Bought this for the Mussorgsky to compare it with the Eiji Oue/Minnesota Orchestra performance. To my ears, the Karajan/Berlin Phil beats it, though the Oue is by no means a slouch.
