Yesterday night's listening:
Swans - To Be Kind (Young God Records, 3 LP set, 2014 first press)
This is honestly a masterpiece of the modern era. It's meditative, psychedelic, atmospheric, punkishly aggressive at times.. Heavily experimental and challenging listen..but then it's totally worth it as every song here is just sublime!
The Mothers of Invention - Burnt Weeny Sandwich (Original UK 1970 press)
One of Frank Zappa's most eccentric recordings! Pure class!
Wow! Nice to see another Michael Gira fan, that too in India :yahoo::clapping:
BTW, I bought my copy of To Be Kind directly from the Young God website, and it came signed by none other than Mr Gira itself! It appears if you buy any vinyl from the site it comes signed by him. Just pre ordered the new LP, which too will be signed. Can't wait!
Not sure if this link will work, but here is my copy

Legend - Bob Marley and the Wailers
Any wannabe RASTAFARIAN worth his sprouting dreadlock would have this essential compilation in his collection.

This one is a mid 80's european pressing. Single LP but gatefold cover. I also have an A MIL audio tape that has survived many years in a car stereo and still sounds good.Is it a single LP or double? I was thinking of buying it. Amazon India has two versions. one says single Lp and another 30th anniversary edition with 2 Lps. Of course price is double too.
