Hi guys, got the new camera sx220 yesterday and took all the pending photos.

The camera says a different story wrt blacks between the TVs. Which is very much in favour of VT20 with the same settings. Unless there is 0 MLL, I think we are going to see the light because our eyes are "always exposed".

Here you go.

Check for the depth in the VT20 which Iam talking about that is absent in the B450. The photos tell a decent story. Colours are whatever the camera can perceive. Much better in person. Most are live moving pictures from the DTH.

All settings in 'auto'. Nothing special. I haven't become accustomed to the camera yet.

VT20 HD in light and dark. (Check the depth in 2D)

Hi Blasto, Great pictures, great camera work. BTW whats the picture settings you used in vt20. Looks like contrast and colour settings were high.

Thats all thanks to the canon's 'smart auto' mode. I did nothing at all.

Iam surpsised you picked up the colour/contrast settings from the photos. :clapping:

As I said earlier, Iam no more using the breakin settings. I use D-Nice's contrast setting of 66. The depth is unbelievable. The TV will seem too bright if you just come out of breakin settings. But for someone who sees for the first time, the breakin settings will be dull and normal one will be good.

Regarding colour, I kept it at 65 (from 50) just for the fotos. I was thinking the camera did not pick up the colours properly but later realised that it is my matt-screen dell laptop that does not 'display' them properly. So if you have a sensitive laptop display or a gloss screen one or if you are seeing it in the TV itself, colours will be over saturated as in real setting.

Thanks Blasto, Yes contrast and colour is clearly evident from the photos. BTW i have completed 180 hours of viewing. can i go for the Dnice THX settings or the settings you gave in vt20 thread now or should i wait for 50 hours more???

I have completed only 60 hours. :D
Stopped worrying about black bars and it doesn't seem to affect.

Try Dnice's in THX and mine in Prof1. Both are different modes anyway.
I seem to have taken a wrong reference though as pointed out by prankey.. Will check and correct tonight.
