who no subwoofer connectivity in Marantz PM 6004

If you have FL speakers there will be no need for the sub..but if you love the deep bass..then none other can provide you the deep bass than the sub....

It's a personal preference I feel. Some just like a deeper thump in their music. Not all speakers bring out the bass as good as others even if they are rated to go down on their knees. I used my Wharfedale sub with speaker level inputs for a number of months and it was fantastic. Although not so good for movies.

No need for a sub out. Get a sub with speaker level connections. For example the Velodyne Impact series.

I was also in same dilemma and please help to understand if the below connections will be fine.

Speaker outputs of Stereo amp ( marantz pm5005 ) connected to speaker level input of velodyne impact 10.

Speaker level outputs of Impact 10 connected to Front L and Front R speakers.

Now Can I connect the same Sub to AVR subwoofer out for the movies?
AVR sub out - RCA input of the impact 10.

I would like to know same sub cane be connected to stereo amp and AVR so that it can be used for Music and movies.

That sounds right. Just be careful not to have your stereo and receiver on at the same time. It won't be a disaster, but better to avoid. You would need to set the cross over on the sub when in stereo chain. It would however be disabled when in home theater chain.

To add to that, some years back I was looking for the same and found that Rel had subwoofers where you could have dual connections. No idea if they still have such models.

Just a small detour In the sub out in amp(where it is provided) can normal RCA single plug can be used or some special connector plug/pin is to be used? Similarly on the sub input side can normal RCA plug can be used ? RCA to RCA?

Subwoofer cable connectors are RCA on both ends.

AMP sub out or lfe out ---> RCA --- single cable --- RCA ---> SUB

AMP pre out ===> RCA === double cable === RCA ===> SUB

( shielded cable )

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
