Last night I applied the FW ver 2.2 onto my Xtreamer but there are still lot of bugs which needs to be sorted: like
1. Its still not capable of playing contents of the etrayz wirelessly with the wifi antenna whereas I find it very strange that when I connect my Xtreamer with a Wireless Bridge connected through my router wirelessly then I am able to play any contents from etrayz and here comes the funniest part i.e my Linksys wireless bridge is G band only.
2. No sign of HD audio decoding as well as pass through even after this new update.

Yesterday I also made my etrayz DLNA compatable by installing Media monkey on it and by doing this I am able to stream contents wirelessly to my PS3 and even my Oppo BDP 83.

About Blu ray drive

Guys, I have an external Blu ray drive from which I am able to watch blu ray disks using PC and Power DVD. Today I updated my xtreamer to firmware 2.2 and attached the external Blu Ray drive but it does not detect the blu ray disk :sad: it says bad disk there after I inserted a DVD disk it played just like a DVD player, i.e. menu selection and all that played just like a DVD player.
FYI, the drive is set to region A Blu ray and 1 for DVD.

I thought that it will now play Blu ray. But I am sorry to say it does not

you can copy the blu ray files to the hard disk and play from it

which dvd was it? was it a movie disk purchased from market?

I purchase DVD's & Blu Ray disks from ebay USA, these are Region 1 / A, these are movies.

Oops.. Mixed up the terminology.
It was the antenna I was referring to (And I thought antenna is called etrayz )
