Which DAC? Norge Concerto Gold 1000+Indiq Diamond Mishras

My music collection is FLAC and Spotify stored locally , I access them through UPNP via WIIM or Android App Symfonium to WIIM Mini, does adding a DAC make a difference? my budget is 20k, which one can I go for? Topping E50? or SMSL brand? please advise

Try to buy Dac that do not have a bright sound signature, it should be subtle and warm in reproduction. As I have used Norge concerto gold 1000, I feel it leans towards the mids and treble. I had used a schiit modi 3 dac along with it but now it is outdated 4 years old unit but matched well with Norge. Currently I have a Fosi audio ZD3 dac and I am using it with Cambridge Audio amp so cannot say much on the matching with Norge 1000. I may be wrong in my assessment but I feel a very revealing DAC will be mismatch with this Particular amp (Norge 1000). However you can take your call on some time tested brand where a person has used it with the similar model amp.

I can confirm this - I also used Schiit Modi with Norge for a long time.
