I have the Lenovo N5901 keyboard, but the range is pathetic (hardly 8 feet in my case). Please keep that in mind before you order it; especially if you have a big room.

True...The MRP is indeed ~1900 as seen from the box.
Track Ball: I've been using this for last 2+ months with my HTPC and I guess I can answer that. Track Ball is quite a PITA and I'd prefer a trackpad any day. To be frank, I didn't like this remote and I still use my Pinnacle IR remote more.
Well, it took a bit of effort to get used to it. I've got it plugged-in to my office PC and I've been playing with it for some time. Now that I've got the hang of it, I think it will do for basic HTPC-only functions. It will not be comfortable to use for anything more.
The keyboard is quite fine -- it is very similar in size to my old E90's keyboard so I've taken to it quite nicely. It isn't perfect, but for my requirements, it will suffice.
IMO the biggest drawback of this device is that it is too light. I like my gadgets a bit on the heavier side and this is way too light for me. It is also not backlit, but that is not a big issue for my needs.
As far as the range issue goes, I don't think it will be a problem for me -- I will be sitting only about 8-9 feet from the PC. Right now, with my office PC, it works at a distance of about 11 feet.
From what I've read about this device, it will help if you can plug it into the USB socket on the front of the PC. If it is plugged into a USB socket on the back of the PC, range does reportedly suffer.
In my usage-scenario, if at all there is a range issue, I will solve it with a 3-meter USB extender cable that I can snake along the wall, under the curtains (beside the rack), closer to my seating position.
The Logitech DiNovo Mini would be the best KB/Trackpad combo in this form factor but it is way too expensive.
You do have a valid point regarding the range being better if the dongle is plugged in the front side. As you suggested, I should try the USB-F cable scheme since my front panels doesn't close with the dongle plugged in.

I'm curious to know which factor drowned the scores that much ? The sub-scores should tell the weakness. Anyways WEI is hardly a benchmark.

It was the CPU score which was 3.8. Everything else was close to or over 5.

@reignofchaos: Shouldn't bother with scores as far as performance is great.....also, how is the 150W PSU doing ?? Does the mobo come with USB3.0 or e-Sata? Do u find any reason to install a dedicated g-card? Can u plz install XBMC and see how it fares?

XBMC runs smoothly if you enable DXVA2 in its video options. Only deal with XBMC at the moment is that it does not bitstream high def formats like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master. They get downmixed to DD and DTS.
I connected it to my APC SmartUPS which has a power monitor. It hardly consumes 30W on load so 150W is a plenty. The board has 2 USB 3.0 ports but no e-SATA. However that is not an issue for me as the Antec ISK-310 has a front e-SATA port which I can just connect to one of the internal ports.
I might get a graphics card later. Other than video, the performance of the onchip Radeon 6310 is very very poor. Even ten year old games like Quake 3 are jerky.

Sorry for being noob, but where do u connect the e-Sata port of the cabinet to, in the mobo? Also, there would be absolutely no gaming in this PC for me, so i suppose the board should be perfect for media playback.
Also, am looking at something like this to store all my storage and share between multiple HTPCs...

Thats why i asked about USB 3.0 and e-Sata support.I think i would connect to the close HTPC via USB 3.0 and to the distant one via e-SATA(if i can find long enough cable that is).
