No idea. I never ordered from Tower.

There is a fixed cost per shipment, plus an additional charge per CD. So yes, it is cheaper to club orders together.

is there a customs implication? on single or on multiple (different again) CDs ordered/shipped?

Yes, sometimes. FedEx pays the duty and collects it at your doorstep. They provide a copy of the original customs receipt.

You are indeed in a minority group that likes this album. I purchased it as they used to and still one of my fav. bands but the mix is terrible on this album. I found it loud and thats about it. No dynamics of prevous recordings at all. I read somewhere that the band is blaming the portable audio players esp. the ipod for this issue!

I don't go much by what others say - and neither I get very technical with the music - If its music to my ears.. I like!

Another recommendation - Nina Simone "Gold" collection. EMI. 2 CD Collection. Love the rendition of "Put a spell on you"

Yes, if you like Pink Floyd. They are quite different.
I love this CD, while my wife finds it difficult to consider it as music

you either like floyd or dont. if youre considering buying their music look at the double disc 'pulse'. you should get it for a similar price or little more. disc two is 'dark side of the moon' and disc one has other tracks which are really good as well

Thats the way anything has to be enjoyed. If you like it, that should be good enough. Now I did not mean to say anything personal about your taste in DM. Its just that the sound was not good to me and lots of others. Even a ton of people who have listened to the album online noticed that tinny sound. Its just another bunch of opinions.

i sincerely believe knowledge heightens the enjoyment.

for example, the first time i heard pt bhimsen joshi, i loved what i heard for his voice, depth, bass, timbre, control, etc. however, my enjoyment increased when i learnt more about rag darbari, its finer nuances, the subtle personal touches, variations, etc.

so, one could go with the simple 'did it sound good to me'. or one could learn more and appreciate even better with that addl. input/knowledge.

till i learnt abt. valves, i was happy with ss. till i heard es i was happy with electro dynamics. till i learnt what difference cable quality could make, i used simple two pair electric wire.

and so on.....

Tharun if you like Pink Floyd or heard them before and like their kind of music then its an excellent album.
