i seriously dont know why it is Not available at a techno hip metro like Bangalore, when its already available at my place!...mayb i' can buy that at monday itself!

As indicated, atleast 1 demo piece is available at Bangalore. There might be more dealers having more demo sets. However Samsung's Bangalore Godown doesn't seems to have any (though was informed day before when I called last on Friday to release the stocks, he said one more has reached Bangalore from another order - which might have been delivered by now and anyhow we should not look to steal someone else's order). ETA he had given while he held the stock on Friday was 5 days. Now I will call him today to inform that 5 people are interested and arrange for them... I will start a thread for group buy once I confirm the availability and offer tomorrow (as I had asked him to release the held stock on Friday).

So as of now below 5 people are interested in the offer (we should try to meet at Devi International, Jayanagar to check the model and confirm the order):

we should wait for stocks to arrive as prankey told in the previous post then we should confirm all the buyer's and confirm back to prankey and then we will arrange a meet up point at some place and time let us not push the limit(i know know that we are all very urgent to buy this)

Its not been delivered as there are no stocks. I haven't paid for the item as such to the concerned person.

Payment has to be made to the dealer and they will deliver by taking the stock from Samsung... Its like any other normal purchase you do from these these dealers..

Yes, seems we will have to live with only 1 free 3D glasses which will be delivered in about 2 weeks...

I just spoke with the contact and he will confirm the availability (as we released the stock on Friday) and pricing by tomorrow morning...

have any of you contemplating purchase of d550 demoed it or thinking buying blindly in a gb?...i made a small review of it in the preceding page but i mayb wrong/mistaken & so was interested to know other ppl's feedback,..those who have seen it already...

i 'm also very eager to know isawugoing's detailed feedback on his d550,coz he is the early bird to officially buy it,...but since then the bird seems nowhere in sight!

So potential buyers, first demo the tv first, & put all your feedback here in the great interest of the community!

I just went to Devi International... They dont have that 1 piece on display... However had D490... Did review it for 5 mins... Brightness in 3D seemed better than Panasonic VT20 I saw last year... Picture was natural looking while LCD/LED LCDs were looking all saturated.. Very good aesthetic looks with slim design...

Overall I really liked the PQ and in 3D mode even 51" looked SMALL (they didn't have real 3D content, was watching Discovery HD). This aspect of small looking picture in 3D really bothers me... it make you feel that the TV is almost half its original size somehow

Colors were natural even in 3D which I really liked as the last year's model had very unnatural looking 3D colors..
