hi guys, i'm in the process of building a 5.1 speaker set up slowly.
I already own a pair of zensor1 bookshelf speakers, for now what would be the best to go with? Would it be 2 fronts/2 rears, 2 fronts/1 center, or 2 fronts/1 sub?
Due to budget constraints i can invest either one of these.
I'm more inclined towards 4.0 setup to enjoy the surround effects, whats your suggestion? :)

For movies, a center channel & subwoofer is both necessary....Without a center channel, the dialogues will spill over L & R speakers....

I would suggest get a center channels first over sub-woofer as your Zensor 1 can take a sub-woofer load & split in to two channels for the time being...

After that add a sub-woofer & then surrounds to complete your setup...

Thank you for your prompt response bro.
I have only 4.5 feet between front left and right, so wondering what difference the centre channel would make

Yeah, my tv rack is 5.5 feet in total. I've kept the speakers on top of it

Hmm... You can easily keep the speakers 6 feet apart... Try to place besides the stand & not on top of TV stand.. Placing them on TV stands is not ideal location for a speaker...Btw what is the TV stand height in feeet/inches ?

Height is 2 feet bro

Could you post pictures of your room (or) provide external links to your room pic ?

Height is not a problem, now i have 4.5 feet between them.
To get 6 feet between them i need to invest in speaker stands which would increase the budget even more.

Fix your bs (zensor) on wall brackets. And caliberate them as front high speakers in avr.
Centre speaker is a must factor in 5.1 setup. I would recommend you to setup centre with 2 surround (rear) together. You can add a sub later as per your budget convinience.
So instead of 4.0 you set up 5.0 including centre. And you can enjoy the surround effects.

Thankyou for your response man, I'll try to add the centre also. [emoji4]
