hi all,
after a long research i have booked....LG 47 LE4600 with LG Bluray player BD 550 + 2 Bluray Disc + HDMI Cable...for...67.3k in chennai....
but my badLuck...there is no stock availabiltiy in Chennai LG dealer... So I need to wait another 2 weeks to get the TV delivered.....
I have checked all big showrooms in chennai, but the price they quoted was very high....
LG showroom - 76,990
Croma - 76,490
EZone - 76,290
Vasanth & Co - 72,990
after 3 weeks of long search and hard bargain, i found this price.....
kindly give your suggestions on this price tag.....
I am expecting suggestion from terence_fdes and kittu...

Rajesh WOW just go ahead man. This deal is fantastic. Although I personally think that the Blu-ray player BD 550 is not great [it has region code problems, some branded dvd's will not play, similarly a USA blu-ray disc will not play as also region B; India is region C].
Still go ahead if u r not satisfied with the Blu-ray player u can always sell it later for 5K at least :licklips:
The TV is fantastic and I am enjoying every moment of it. Again remember SD signals reception is not great [this is common for any brand & sets that are 46" and above].

Yes it plays mkv files. Support for 2 TB drives - I have tested. BUT do remember large files over 4.5 GB mkv files playback is not very smooth since your usb device does not have any hardware - RAM & built-in codecs to support 1080 smooth playback.
For mkv or other formats & 1080 playback u will eventually need a Hard-disk based media player.

Before i was going for Sony 40ex710 but with LG we are getting 2inch more and BD player too.
yesterday i went to two LG dealers here in Meerut. one quoted 42 inch 4600 of 68k with BD player and other 72k with tata sky hd, they make fool of people, we will purchase from Delhi as we need at my Delhi house from my Fathers friend who is wholesale dealer for electronic goods.
One LG dealer told that BD player is only free with 4600 not with 5500 is it true ?
also with 4600 you got the movabe wall mount with which you can easiy turn ur led.
our budget is 70k , i have told my father to chk if we get 47 inch with that amount, will update u all on that.
last question how is the woofer effect in 4600 is it worth it ?

Yes it's true the BD player comes ONLY with 47 LE4600.
Yes u can get it below 70k
The Woofer is the plus point - you can enjoy excellent quality audio at low volumes 8-15/100. Whereas on Sony or Samsung u have to go all the way up to 50-70.

Yesterday my father got info from his friend that 47le4600 is 62 inclusive of BD Player.
42le5300 57k with Tata Sky , waiting for info about 47le5500.

The LE5300 & 5500 is only marginally better in the contrast ratio - which as I have mentioned earlier is hardly visible at all to even a trained eye. Besides the sound on the LE4600 is far superior [this is the Jazz-LED series]. So make your choice.

LG is good for their service, Yes I agree, because their product needs it.
Called service persons 3 times for my 1 yr old Split A/C. They came and Service is good.
Called service men 2 times for my 1 year old washing Machine. They came and Service is good.
But I wish to get a product and brand who dont need to be called for a service. Its SONY.
Buy from India's official online dealer!
