My opinion on Acer h5370bd, this projector will not fail you on the picture quality. for this price this one is a real VFM. I am personally enjoin it every week with the bluray quality movies. This makes me lot happy during the weekends. :yahoo:

Acer H5370 BD is far ahead of Epson EH-TW480 interms of contrast(2200:1 vs 200:1 according to many tests).Also it comes at 36,700 in ishop ,In between I heard from an Epson guy that they stopped 480 for 550.Where is it available now?

+1 ,it very good PJ for the price.I saw 2 PJs costing at least 4 times showing bad picture quality at Mumbai expo on screen.
This shows good image even on wall.

We need zero gain screens.
One of FM has Grandview screen and image on that is very good.Also 3 looks much better than cinema hall.Others please post their screen manufacturers and model if any.
But the real problem is many of these branded screens(Elite/Grandview) costs a hell lot in kerala.I have called a dealer in cochin and he has quoted 25k for a manual pull down grandview screen.I have seen some Elite screens in junglee/amazon.in priced at 16k.Truth to be told my budget is 10k.

Our PJ is bright and more gain reflects more light.So you need to sit mostly in mid line to get best PQ.There are cheap imported screens on ebay.in starting around 3K.But they are not telling exact gain.0.8 to 2.2

I am planning to go for roller blinds which will give me flexibility for using them as blinds and block light as well. These are seemingly cheap and do not have any gain as this PJ is quite bright (quoted by FMs). The best part is we can choose the color of the fabric on these blinds.
