This is the first time I’ve even heard of this movie, and that clip just scrambled my brain! :)
An IMDB reviewer summarizes it thus - Siddhartha done as a Rock and Roll Comedy Western. If that’s an accurate description, I wonder if that explains Elvin Jones’ participation. He was a staunch follower of Buddhism, after all.
 
Last night was a Horace Silver session.
Senor Blues from Six Pieces of Silver has got to be my favourite composition by him.

 
Park Avenue Petite and Step Lightly, I always thought were both Blue Mitchell tunes. Five spot after dark is a beautiful track and I thought it was Curtis Fuller's (There's a video on youtube of Benny Golson meeting a frail Curtis Fuller in the hospital).
I Remember Clifford is a choice tune again and one i love. So many other great songs. The man was a Top Cat for sure.
