Brilliant record in the vein of Herbie Hancock's Mwandishi-era fusion! Quite an outlier in the ECM catalogue. Managed to find an OG pressing a while ago, a prized possession of mine

Standout solo by Benny Bailey! And I love the Montreux sound.A couple of greats ripping it up on stage, and then an absolute legend walks in to hear them

Wanted to share info about an interesting series of programmes on jazz:
I used to be an active member when i lived in Pune. The programs are very very interesting, enjoyable and informative. It's generally an hour long audio video presentation accompanied by a demo of the featured instrument -like this time a drummer will demo jazz drumming. The venue Shisha Jazz Cafe is a great place too. I'm hoping some of you can attend one of the future sessions
And maybe some of you can conduct one of the future sessions if you happen to be in or travel to Pune!

There are lots of good ones there. That South Side Soul was always very unaffordable. It's good to see it being reissued.
