amazon.co.uk - free shipping to india

I added 39+ worth of items to cart and went till check out. I was told that delivery charges are 6.56.

The India/Aus/NZ/SA free shipping scheme is indeed over.

Here is the web page: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/buy/sha...r-saver.html/ref=ox_spc_help_sss?qualify=none

Why didn't I qualify for free Super Saver Delivery?

Your Amazon EU S.a.r.L. items:

Not Eligible:The availability of Super Saver Delivery (SSD) requires that all items are grouped into one delivery and depends on the delivery destination selected. The GBP may have fallen but the bank still charges 3.5% on Forex transactions.

Its very disheartening to see that the - Free Super Saver Delivery to INDIA got wrapped up.

I hope that we all made most of this golden opportunity and got hand on some of the impressive BDs ever released. ;)

Was thinking of pre-ordering the ultimate bond collection and expected Amazon to extend it for another year :) [too much of an ask it seems]

Wish that Amazon comes up with such offers once in a while......

My Blu-ray collection

I just received mu package today from amazon.co.uk of HP 8 BD collection and ICE AGE all three through post and I was charged a customs duty Rs. 681..!

Ohh, very sad news. Wish they've continued with the Free Super Saver scheme. My last orders have arrived and this time it arrived within 2 weeks and top of that No Customs Duty this time, yippee. Now as free shipping is no more available I'll be sticking to buying only box packs (shipping cost per BD is less if you buy box-sets).

I have taken up the case of customs duty with amazon and they have assured me that it will be taken up with the shipper. Hope I get a refund but not counting on it. Anyway the deal turned out to be much cheaper than in India. Just the HP pack costs 7.7k on flipkart!

Ya that's very true buddy the hp 8 movie pack is the best deal available on amazon.uk
I have got mine after a long 15 days waiting & lucky to get it without customs
I ordered it on 13th Jan & received on 28th Jan
