I ordered few concert DVD's on the 24th Feb(Amazon UK) and expected delivery date is 17th march. None have shown up as yet...
Also guys who received, what was the custom duty u were charged?

I think you can get it only after total reaches 25pd.(Amazon direct only)

My items were from amazon directly and moreover it was exceeding 25pd. I think after I added my Aramex UK address this problem has started cropping up although it is not the default address. Will try by deleting it and then check. Defauilt address is still India.

31 days for delivery. It clearly states 25 pounds as value, but was assessed at 2.3K and then a duty of ~30% was slapped on it. No recourse. Not trying this again

Just ordered few Region Free classic movies Blade Runner, 2001 and 2010. And Resident Evil 3d movie. The price was reduced further during the checkout step, than compared to the listed price. Total order 37.11.

E.g Blade Runner - Final Cut [Region Free] is listed as 9.49. But while placing order the price further came down to 7.91. India lowest price is Rs 1160. Thats cool

I am thinking of placing a pre-order for 3d movies (Clash of Titans or Legend of the Guardians). Did anyone pre-ordered for these 3D movies?

Few movies like "This is it" are marked as Region Free in the title but in the "Item Description" they are marked as "Region 2". Its confusing, so I din't order them.

Overall best offer for filling up your Blu-ray collection. Prices are very less when compared to Indian sites/stores, even after 30% duty (if applicable).

Guys, wanted to check something on this subject

Just odered some Blurays from Amazon UK last week. Bill value well over 25GBP. However they seem to have charged higher (in INR) on my credit card compared to what is still showing as total value. - Does Amazon automatically charge additional (for potential custom charges) if it is being shipped thru courier? 2 of my 3 packages are supposedly being couriered thru DHL while 1 of them is thru Royal mail.

Would have considered additional charge as Forex variation, but it seems to be atleast 30% more!

Any thought on this?

the conversion lies with the credit card company whose card you have used for transaction..

So far I have received all of my three packages, but they were delivered after their estimated time. In one case, they had to re-ship it as it exceeded 2 weeks from their estimated time. Surprisingly, I received both the shipments on the same date. It seems they do not have any control after the shipments are handed over to the Indian postal service.

And in the last case, some of the CD cases were opened and some of the jewel cases were cracked. Fortunately, the CDs were not damaged . When I contacted customer support, they were ready to replace it. But I did not ask for it as the CDs were in brand new condition.

So, all in all getting it from amazon is not hassle-free. But the collection and the price at which I am getting the CDs make order again and again through amazon. Presently, waiting for the 4th shipment to arrive. This time there are some books also along with CDs. It will be interesting to see in what condition books are delivered.

Yesterday received 2 vinyl records from Amazon UK under free shipping scheme. :clapping:
The estimated delivery dates were 7th-14th April and it got delivered on 11th.
I have three more orders with them. Hopefull to receive them on time.

Its been more than 13 days and I still havent received my shipment yet. Royal mail and no tracking available. ETA is april 20 but by looking at other's experience I too kind of hoping for the similar surprise . I guess cant do much here than just keep waiting.
